The holidays are finally upon us! If you are looking for fun and adventure to destress after a long semester, well, there’s just the right place for you in the East. That is D’Ultimate Xcape located at Downtown East with many different activities for you to try out. Let us walk you through some of the interesting things to check out when you are there.

For those of you that are looking to travel overseas but want to avoid the COVID-19 scares, look no further than the SHOWRoom, or SgHotelOnWheels! It is a boutique pop-up hotel concept that features 10 container rooms on wheels and will be stopping at various locations around the island from now till 17 April 2022. 

Larger groups can opt for the 40-foot containers which can fit up to 4 guests comfortably. Each room comes with a full-sized refrigerator, a kitchen with an induction cooker and even your very own outdoor compound. These rooms also have five uniquely designed themes for you to choose from, ranging from the Safari Paradise to the Pop Art Room. 

Couples looking for a cozy stay can choose to book the smaller 20-foot containers which come in chic themes such as the Modern Country and the Minimalist Classic. You’ll also get to beat the heat with a pair of day passes to the Wild Wild Wet that comes with each booking! Prices start from just $188, with more activity bundle options available during check-in.

If you are looking for a place to relive your childhood, here’s the inflatable Dino at D’Ultimate Xcape where you can get to meet the cute Dinos. These friendly giants await you with open arms for a time of good fun with your friends and family, regardless of any age. Besides that, you will be able to see a big octopus water slide, as well as four other giant inflatable sliders and bouncers! 

The tickets for these bouncy inflatables range from $8 to $12 and are affordable for your little ones to have some fun. This is a great place to start for your little ones who would love playing on the friendly bouncy giants.  


Uncle Ringo rides

For those of you who are fans of Uncle Ringo, you will be able to recognise the classic rides available at D’Ultimate Xcape such as the Viking Ship, Spinning Tea Cup and Swing Chairs. These classic rides are not to be missed for sure when you are at a carnival. There’s also a thrilling new ride called the Meteorite, that spins you around while tilting up to 45 degrees! This ride is perfect for the adrenaline junkie in you.

But if you are someone who cannot deal with being swung around like a wrecking ball, fret not! They also have a more palatable Waddle Boat that is suitable for you. This ride definitely will not threaten your lunch coming back up and is family-friendly too, suitable for the old and young. Tickets for these rides range from $5 to $10.

Those looking for a fun carnival experience can try their hand at the many carnival games there! With adorable plushies to be won, you definitely want to have a go at their tin-can toss or rubber duck fishing game and put your skills to the test! Prices range from $5 to $10.

So you definitely do not want to miss out on this fun place to visit during the holidays, especially when you are not traveling soon! Head over to D’Ultimate Xcape at Downtown East, Begonia Open Air Carpark! It’s open on Monday, Wednesday to Friday from 4.30 pm to 9.30 pm and, Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 9.30 pm, but is closed on Tuesday.
