Disney fans are in for a treat as a whimsically immersive Disney experience is coming straight to Singapore – in the form of a Mickey Mouse exhibit. For the first time ever, Pop-Up Disney, A Mickey Celebration, originally from Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, will be held in Asia!
The limited-time event is a tribute to Mickey Mouse and will span over an impressive 1350 square metres at the Suntec Convention Centre from 19 November 2021 – 20 March 2022.

Expect to get the full Mickey Celebration as you step inside the seven unique imaginatively themed experiences from Mickey at DisneyLand to Mickey Loves Singapore. This exhibition promises Instagram-worthy photo backdrops as well as Singapore-only Mickey merchandise.
Each room has a QR code on one of the walls. Scan it to enter the Pop-up Disney! Trivia game. Stand to win attractive prizes if you get at least three answers correct. Avid Disney fans have an advantage since this requires sufficient knowledge about Mickey lore – we tried and failed.

Your journey through the exhibition starts you off in a bright pink room covered in cutesy hearts and bows. Here, you can take some time to admire Mickey and Mickey’s love throughout the years, featuring some well-loved classic Mickey artwork. Grab your friends and pose with the huge, yellow Minnie bows in this room before zooming to the highlight of the room – a huge bow-shaped plush sofa for your Instagram-worthy pictures!
Step into a monochrome room and transport back into time in It All Started With A Mouse. This room pays homage to the Classic Mickey era, with life-size cutouts of Mickey’s steamboat and plane for you to pose with. Fans of the vintage Mickey era will enjoy this mini throwback.
After this, explore Mickey’s Friendships by snapping some photos with the gigantic crayons and the large Mickey statues! Designed as a whimsical gallery, this room offers information about other characters such as Minnie, Donald, Goofy and more! Find out about the inspiration behind these characters and how they were brought to life.
Venture through a mystical tunnel to find the place a fan-favourite resides. Sporting his signature wizard hat and cape, Sorcerer Mickey Awaits at the end of the Magic Tunnel. This room is very different from the previous ones, as it is lit up by neon blue lights and blinking stars. Pose with Sorcerer Mickey and his wizard hat here.
Mickey’s Singapore exhibit can be described to be a unique find as it pays homage to all things Singaporean. Dreamed up by local design studio WHENIWASFOUR, this room features artworks of local landmarks such as the famous dragon playground. Spot a big snack machine filled with Mickey-shaped tidbits and look out for a fun activity in this room, where you can colour in the design provided and watch it get posted on the screen. Celebrate Mickey in a truly Singaporean way in Mickey Loves Singapore!

Immerse yourself in Forever Mickey, which is definitely the highlight of the entire exhibition. This infinite mirror room boats colourful neon lights and a reimagined version of Mickey in the future. You might ever get lost in an infinity of Mickey ears. Get as many photos as you want here, with it being the most futuristic of all rooms.
Last but not least, pose with gigantic bubbles and a magical castle in Mickey’s Disneyland exhibit! You can even sit in some gigantic caramel treats for cute pictures.
The exhibition loops back to where we started, a merchandise store affectionately known as the Mickey Mart. Find many Singaporean-inspired figures and plush toys, including Mickey and Minnie on a durian and Minnie donning a paddlepop-coloured dress. You can also purchase Mickey-themed clothes, bags, face masks and socks!

If you failed to get three answers right on the Pop-up Disney! Trivia page, you still have a chance to win prizes through Klook’s Hidden Mickey game. Just spot the hidden Mickeys in a photo within the time limit to redeem a token at the counter. Insert the token into the giant gumball machine to find out what prize you win!
Tickets are already available for booking on Klook and Disney’s website. Ticket prices start at $20 for kids aged three to 12 and $25 for those above the age of 12. Bundle tickets are sold for $19.60 per ticket for a bundle of five. Exclusive merchandise such as Sorcerer’s Mickey or Minnie Mouse Bow ear headbands can also be purchased with tickets for $35 each.
We certainly had a blast posing with the different Mickeys and we’re sure you will too. What are you waiting for?
