The #OOTP Edition

By Nur Iffah, Nurul Hanan & Nicole Ang Yu Ke

After staying home for online classes during the April semester, it’s time to start afresh for the October semester! Now that we are back on campus, here are some ideas for your #OOTP outfits.

(PS: The photos were taken earlier in the year, before this whole pandemic descended upon us so no rules were broken!)

1. School Spirited

TP’s apparel is a common sight in school. It indicates how cohesive and bonded the students are. The apparel are usually affordably priced, very comfortable to wear and fit almost everything! You can easily mix and match their windbreakers to your outfit especially on days where you feel like putting minimal effort to your outfit.

2.Monday Blues

Lazy days call for lazy looks. We can see that from the matching sweaters and sweatpants the boys love to wear.

But if you want to switch it up,  just add a statement piece to your outfit like a boxy fanny pack or a bold backpack.

3. Baby, It’s Cold Outside

Lecture halls, studios and especially the labs are known for their freezing temperature. So can your room, if you have decreased the temperature in this hot and humid weather. Apparently, students learn best in a cold environment but sometimes we just can’t take it.

The basic overside hoodies and sneakers are always a go-to.

4. Thank God It’s Friday!

Friday… the day where you’ll see everyone dressed up ready to celebrate the weekend once school ends. Put on your favourite dresses or button-up tops ready to go on their dates with friends and family (be no more than five a group, please!).

Students will make the effort to style their hair, ears clipped with fancy earrings and necks donned with necklaces for a touch of class. It’s exciting to see students expressing themselves through the clothes they wear, what more to have fun in them.

5. Hustle For That Muscle

Last but not least, our dear athletes of TP. It’s a struggle to balance school and their fitness regimes. Athletes usually bring the simplest clothes to wear, something quick and easy for them to change just enough for them to work out in.

And of course, what’s an athlete without their beloved duffle bags? A whole collection of them can be seen on the stadium seats and it’s a sight to see! Even some non-athlete students use duffle bags to look cool.
